ASCII Cows allows you to browse and use a collection of 400+ ASCII cows. CompuCows, COWculators, Cowazakis, Cowlendars - browse and discover a wide range of fixed-width beef.
The cows can be copy&pasted as images, PDF, RTF and plain-text - and then used in a wide range of applications, from Mail to Pages to Messages.
Or you can make use of the stunning 'cow sharing' feature. Just select the 'Share...' menu item and you can directly share the selected cow with your friends on Twitter or Slack.
ASCII Cows also includes a Messages app extension (iOS 10+ only). Use it to create a list of your favorite Cow stickers.
Other extras include support for Markdown copy which allows you to use the artwork as regular text in Markdown aware applications like Whatsapp. Plus a beautiful “Radioactive” mode which makes the cows glow in the dark.

Disclaimer
No cow has been harmed for the development of this application. I guess. Maybe not. We prefer chicken, ostrich and duck confit.

Technology
ASCII Cows is a native iOS application written in Swift 3...5.
Pretty much all the UI setup is done in code for various reasons.
~90% of the code of the iOS application is shared with our macOS
based cow solutions.
Yet ASCII Cows is making extensive use of iOS features,
like an Messages app extension.
Credit where credit is due!
This is just an application build around the excellent cows and vaca modules of Sindre Sorhus. He did all the herding and cowboy’ing.
